Welcome to the second edition of our product innovations! We are delighted to introduce the latest features available on our Sami climate platform.
Let's dive right into the features of the month of May, not to be missed for consultants!
Why use AI to process a database?
Processing procurement databases has been identified as a particularly time-consuming step for consultants.
In previous developments, we have facilitated this processing via our input file collector (learn more about the input collector).
Today we are enhancing this tool with the ability to automatically assign emission factors to large volumes of data thanks to artificial intelligence.

In addition to creating manual rules (to review the functioning of the assignment rules here it is) consultants can now automatically generate, thanks to AI, a set of rules based on the composition of the products in the imported file.
The emission factors applied will be from the Base Carbone and the Base Impact of the Ademe (several hundred FE targeted for this first development cycle).
These rules will be proposed for lines without an emission factor (i.e., for lines that are not targeted by any rule), thus allowing manual rules added before automatic generation to be preserved.
The advantages of AI for consultants
- Save time: our AI detects the composition of products, proposes the most appropriate emission factor and automatically creates assignment rules.
- Keep control: once the automatic generation is complete, you can modify or validate the rules created by our AI. Your manually created rules are preserved: you thus keep control over the processing of your data!
- Combine the efficiency of AI with the precision of your manual rules for optimal processing of your procurement data!
And what about the future?
We wish to continue the automation of data processing and open automatic generation to new emission factor databases.
We are also considering working on the learning of our algorithm so that the manual modifications made to the rules come to enrich the next automatic generations.
Thank you for reading this article! We hope these improvements will help optimize your work. Join us for the next article where we will present new features and tips to maximize the use of our platform.
