Jelena Cohade, why did you want to deploy this partnership at BPAURA and offer this support to your business customers?

This partnership is essential in supporting our businesses. The carbon footprint is a structuring step, it sets the starting point for a decarbonization strategy and will contribute to reducing the environmental impact of our customers. It responds to regulatory challenges but above all to competitiveness and image.

What prompted you to select Sami to support you in this process? The performance of the platform? Support for consultants?

‍

Sami offers a complete solution adapted to all market segments. As a leading player, it offers both the support of a consultant and software to measure greenhouse gas emissions, define a reduction trajectory and pilot an action plan, in order to get in working order.

Do you condition some of your loans (or better conditions) on the commitment of your customers to this decarbonization process?

‍

Extra-financial criteria will be integrated into the analysis of credit files. We are currently tracking investments that meet the objectives of the Green Taxonomy and our advisors are conducting strategic ESG interviews to identify risks and opportunities. It is in this context that we can offer the SAMI solution, to support our customers in their transition.

Is this decarbonization issue coming up more and more in the discussions between business managers and your customers?

‍

The carbon footprint is an essential subject today, and we aim to “popularize” our customers. The activities and workshops provided for our customers and employees made it possible to remove obstacles.

The software is also very accessible and offers a good user experience.

What is the first feedback from your customers who are committed to a carbon footprint and a climate strategy with Sami?

‍

Customers do not always have the necessary internal resources to carry out this first step. The platform allows them to collect data in a simplified and accelerated way, to define a trajectory and to be autonomous on certain subjects such as communication thanks to the Kit provided.
