‍How do you use Sami's ESG Hub?

For the past few months, we have been supporting several of our clients in building their CSRD relationship with Sami's ESG Hub, more specifically using the dual materiality and gap analysis module.

Why did you choose the Sami software?

‍

We needed a tool that was both modern and mature, that is to say, already reliable and, of course, with the best quality-price ratio. In addition, we were very careful not to add complexity and therefore we were looking for software that was easy to use for our consultants and the clients we support.

Do you use other software on dual materiality and gap analysis?

‍

No, we made the choice to select only the Sami solution in order not to disperse.

What is the strength of Sami's ESG Hub?

‍

First of all, I find it very easy to use, with a well thought-out user interface.

‍

The module on double materiality in particular is great. It is pleasant to use, practical and with great freedom given to consultants in order to personalize questions for stakeholders, personalize business challenges, and add or modify impacts, risks and opportunities (IRO). In short, the structure is not rigid.

‍

And our consultants are giving the same feedback: it is a very practical tool that therefore saves time.

Is this saving of time an essential element?

‍

Yes it is essential, it makes it possible to reduce the number of consulting days and therefore to reduce the budget for companies while offering an increased quality of support. Let me give you an example: the deliverables from the software are very pleasant and easy to read, this is an important point because it contributes to the client's better understanding of the project and its sustainability challenges. Everyone is a winner. Between an Excel table and what the software allows, there is no comparison possible!

Can we talk about the complementarity of the software with your offer?

‍

It is a solution that combines very well with ours: Sami with software expertise and on our side the expertise of our consultants. It is a mistake to see the work on CSRD and even more generally on CSR with an all-consultant solution or an all-software solution. It's smart to combine the two and Sami's ESG Hub makes it possible.

What types of businesses do you support with the Sami software?

‍

They are mainly ETI currently. But the software is also perfectly suited to SMEs or large accounts, it is a strength. It makes it possible to map all types of business structures, including the most complex ones, i.e. multi-sites or multi-activities for example.

With the Omnibus Directive, will you support companies in their voluntary reporting?

‍

Many of our customers actually receive very specific requests from their stakeholders (investors, suppliers, customers, insurers) who need data on their sustainability. So we are going to support them towards this voluntary reporting, in particular with the VSME standard. And by continuing to work with the Sami software!
