Let's discuss your environmental issues

No way we will leave you without an answer
Regulation, customer demands, tenders, RSE labels, team expectations, image, competitiveness, economy, energy dependence: there are as many good reasons to get started as there are ways to calculate a company's carbon footprint!
And why do a “carbon footprint” via software to formalize this commitment?
It is the first step of any complete and ambitious environmental strategy.
Indeed, this audit will allow you to rigorously measure the actions for the planet that you are already carrying out or that are planned in your RSE roadmap, and above all to identify new actions that you have not yet considered.

Concretely, it is a question of collecting activity data (energy, offices, home-to-work and professional travel, product specificities, etc.) and translating them into tonnes of greenhouse gases (CO2, methane and others).
We did CO2 in LV1 at Sami!
To carry out the calculation, there are several carbon accounting methodologies: Carbon Footprint, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, etc. Our carbon experts are trained to use them all!
We find together the one that best suits your needs, so that the carbon footprint of your company is as precise and useful as possible.

By default, we take into account the complete carbon footprint of a company. On our software, we therefore measure the direct and indirect emissions of a company's activity (Scope 1, 2 and 3), following the emission categories proposed by the methodology (energy, raw materials, business travel, service purchases, etc.).
Regarding Scope 3, its exact perimeter may be refined on a case-by-case basis, depending on the existing calculation methodologies. For example, for an investment fund, different methodologies are possible to measure the carbon footprint of the investment portfolio.
For a service provider, it may be proposed to measure the carbon footprint linked to the use of the services (for example: the use of a web development service for a web agency).

➜ You can do it internally, by training one or more members of your team in the carbon assessment methodology developed by the ADEME. But training has a cost (1150€ HT per person), will take a lot of time (about twenty hours) and if it provides theoretical knowledge, the practical aspect will be missing.
➜ You can also ask a consulting firm or specialized study office to carry out the carbon assessment of your company. Traditional firms mainly support large companies and local authorities and operate in consulting mode: the bill can quickly add up. And the process can prove to be time-consuming as it is not digitized.
➜ The third solution, you see it coming, is to call on an online software like Sami. Our innovative 100% online method is faster, more agile, more fun and also more affordable!

The simplified carbon assessment (scope 1 and 2, and soon 3 too) is already mandatory for companies with more than 500 employees every 4 years and local authorities employing more than 250 people every 3 years.
This is what we call the BEGES. And the regulation is evolving!
The citizens' convention for the climate made several proposals in 2020 relating to the greenhouse gas assessment. Reduction of the number of employees, annualization of the assessment, expansion of the perimeter: all options are on the table. The subject is under discussion as part of the 2021 climate law. If it does not become mandatory for everyone in this law, it will surely be in the next one...
If you are not yet concerned, it is better to anticipate!

It all starts with retrieving the activity data of your company that allows us to translate your activity into greenhouse gases on our carbon assessment software.
There are two types: physical (tonnes of materials purchased, kilometers traveled, volume of digital data, kilos of waste, etc.) and financial and monetary (euros spent or received).
For each emission category, we use the most accurate information possible, depending on the information already in your possession.
The collection of this data, scattered between your management tools, your accounting, your business software, your teams and your suppliers, is simplified and automated as much as possible to be as simple and fast as possible.

When you contact a consulting firm or specialized study office, the price of a carbon assessment can vary between 5000€ and 30000€ or more.
The price depends on several factors: the size of the company, the type of activity, the extent of the carbon footprint, etc.
At Sami, prices are transparent and fixed! Depending on the size of the company and the sector of activity.
The rates are very affordable, as we simplify the procedures thanks to our software. And because we believe it is essential to encourage as many companies as possible to commit to the environment!

Very likely yes!
Many organizations and public entities offer subsidies to help you get started: Bpifrance, French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME), Chamber of Commerce and Industry, etc.
The list is constantly evolving, contact us to find those available for you!
